Role Overview

As Hub Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of one of our Hubs. The Hub Team Leader will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and organized functioning of our workshop, with primary focus on managing the workflow, resources and quality of service provided to our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Planning and prioritising daily workshop activities to ensure the efficient use of resources
  • Maintaining Hub Engineer compliance on business systems.
  • Ensuring all orders have a job sheet and photograph attached to each call.
  • Participating in a weekly operations call and delivering weekly updates from the hub.
  • Monitoring adherence to ETAs on rental orders.
  • Maintaining the facility up to business standards.
  • Driving quality and performance improvement within the Hub Engineer team.
  • Ensuring Hub engineers meet KPIs.
  • Demonstrating an excellent approach to all activities and uphold site standards for both self and the team.
  • Escalating issues and communicating information to the Head of Service Delivery and Operations/Service Delivery Managers.
  • Assisting in the effective management and minimisation of downtime and wait times for machines.
  • Proactively supporting the technical training of Hub Engineers, providing coaching, feedback, and training opportunities.
  • Ensuring the full implementation of safety, health, environment, and quality requirements in line with company guidelines.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all workshop activities, including job orders, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
  • Generating reports on workshop performance and efficiency for management.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar workshop or service management role within the industrial equipment industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and workshop management software.
  • Health and Safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
