Darren Marston – Founder and Chairman
Darren has worked in the cleaning industry for over 30 years and is the Executive Chairman at ICE – a company which was set up by his father in 1965.
Darren is greatly respected within the cleaning industry by his peers and colleagues and currently sits on the Board of the Cleaning Services Support Association (CSSA). He is also an active member of the The Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners, the British Cleaning Council, and the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc).
Mark Bresnihan – CEO
Mark joined the ICE business in 1997 as a Regional Sales Executive based in Northamptonshire. As the business rapidly expanded, his role changed to Sales Manager and then Sales Director which was promptly followed by his permanent relocation to Southampton where ICE’s head office was and still is based.
In 2008 Mark had the privilege of accepting the position of Managing Director, the position that he still holds to this day. This role carries huge responsibility which he takes very seriously and is very proud to work with such diverse, forward thinking, and enthusiastic people. These people make up the great team and organisation that ICE has become today.
Jon Aylett – Chief Financial Officer
Jon joined ICE in 2023, bringing extensive financial leadership experience. Previously, he held Financial Director roles in facilities management and senior positions within a leading multinational coffee company. Following his professional accountancy training, Jon transitioned seamlessly into industry roles. With over 15 years of experience, he collaborates closely with stakeholders to ensure strong financial health and strategic delivery.
Ricky Smith – Chief Commercial Officer
Ricky joined the cleaning industry at the very young age of 22 years having successfully completed his A Levels at college and having worked in a call centre sales environment. Joining Karcher UK, Ricky worked his way up from the Customer Support Centre to National Sales Manager. He was then offered the opportunity to run the UK and Ireland Sales function for Truvox International where he worked for 4 years.
Ricky then joined ICE as Sales Director in May 2013, and is now Chief Commercial Officer. He is both delighted and proud to have been part of the growth within ICE over recent years and looks forward to what promises to be an exciting future working within a great team.
Julie Kitchener – Chief Marketing and Communications Officer
After leaving Southampton University with a Business Studies degree, Julie joined BT on their graduate scheme. She spent 13 years there working in various marketing roles, including launching Broadband throughout the UK. Whilst working for BT she also studied for a Marketing Master’s degree which she achieved in 2006.
Julie joined ICE in October 2014 to run the marketing function where she was responsible for all elements of marketing and PR for the business. Julie was then promoted in 2019 to Head of Customer Service and Marketing, where she was responsible for various areas across the business. She is now Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and is responsible for the Marketing, HR, and Logistics functions.
Liam Greenall – Chief Sales Officer
Liam started his career in the hygiene service industry in 2002 working for Cannon Hygiene, a key subsidiary of OCS Group. He went on to join the PHS Group in 2006, the leading provider of washroom services in a newly created role in Key Accounts, where he gained several promotions in various sales roles over 10 years before becoming Key Accounts Director. Liam left PHS Group to join JLA in 2016 as Sales Director for Consumables, the leading provider of laundry and catering equipment. Liam came back to PHS Group in a brand-new role, reporting directly to the group exec, focused on new business acquisitions and growth of their largest washroom service division. Liam spent nearly 7 years in a key role for the business, developing and implementing bespoke new business strategies that contributed to record period of growth, winning the largest new business clients in the industry from across Cleaning, FM and HoReCa sectors.
Liam, who’s also been a keynote speaker at edie, the largest sustainability leader’s forum in the UK, pioneered client success through sustainable and innovative solutions. Providing circular economy benefits for clients, whilst improving hygiene and customer experience. He is both delighted and proud to be part of ICE in the role of, Chief Sales Officer, and is looking forward to continuing to drive growth through innovation, sustainability, and customer experience.
Jo Gittins – Chief Customer Officer
As a qualified marketer, customer centricity is part of Jo’s DNA!
With over 15 years of experience in Facilities Management at the C-suite level, Jo is a proven leader in driving strategic change and operational excellence. She has successfully designed and executed customer, commercial, and operational strategies, delivering profitable, sustainable growth. Jo has led major transformation projects in customer strategy, operations, key accounts, and sales process redesign. She excels at translating strategy into practical action. A strong communicator and relationship builder, Jo leads with confidence, energy, and a clear sense of direction and purpose. She inspires and motivates teams to deliver exceptional results.
Outside of work, Jo splits her time between central London, the Midlands, and the Peloponnese in Greece, exploring all the capital has to offer, enjoying the culture, sunshine, and blue sea of Greece as well as lovingly restoring three vintage caravans in her workshop near the seven-valley railway.
Damien Hiles – Head of Business Development
Damien has been in the cleaning industry for 12 years, starting out working with a distributor called OCH, initially as a delivery driver and then working in the warehouse and trade counter. He progressed through the business and into a sales position which he held for 5 years. Upon leaving OCH in 2018, Damien joined Accelerate Facilities as a Sales Director and spent 2.5 years with the business before joining ICE in April 2021. Damien’s interests outside of work include supporting the best football team in the land, Arsenal, and raising 3 small children including 1 year old twin boys.
Gabriella Duliba – Head of Key Account Management
Gabriella recently joined ICE as a Key Account Director, having worked in the industry for over 8 years. Previously her role was specialising in hiring industrial equipment to the FM and Cleaning sector which has taught her to be adaptable and flexible when working with customers. Gabriella has a passion for building true partnerships within business and she thrives on working in a fast-paced environment. Being able to deliver excellent service to customers gives her great satisfaction. Outside of work when she isn’t running around after her 2-year-old, Gabriella loves being in the countryside and has a keen interest in interior design.
Melanie Weeks – Head of Admin & Business Systems
Melanie joined ICE in 2015 as a Helpdesk Administrator. Her adaptability and willingness to learn led her to diverse roles across Sales Admin, Projects, and Systems teams. This cross-functional experience provided Melanie with a deep understanding of ICE’s operations and has led to her recent promotion to lead the Sales Admin and Business Systems teams.
Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her friends and family and just being outside. With the New Forest close to her doorstep, she enjoys going out walking.
Juliane Crittenden – Head of Service Delivery
Juliane began her career at ICE as a Key Account Administrator after leaving school. Over the past 7 years, she transitioned into compliance and scheduling, eventually becoming heavily involved in robotic equipment service delivery. Juliane’s strong performance in operations led to a promotion managing a team of compliance and robotics engineers, and further promotion has now led her to be responsible for the ICE Helpdesk, Engineer Scheduling, and Compliance teams.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling to new places or anywhere with a good view, a sunset or a gin.
Emily Dibley, Head of People Development & HR
Emily joined ICE in 2018 as an HR Administrator after graduating with a degree in Psychology. Demonstrating initiative, she pursued her CIPD Level 5 in People Management alongside her role. Emily’s dedication led to promotions from HR Administrator to HR Manager and most recently, Head of People Development & HR. She is currently enjoying time on maternity leave but is looking forward to returning to ICE and getting stuck back in to work soon.
Outside of work, Emily is a keen baker and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is currently enjoying time on maternity leave with her 8-month-old daughter but is looking forward to returning to ICE and getting stuck back in to work soon.
